Hua Hin Tourism Association in cooperation with the private and public sectors have joined force to further promote tourism in Hua Hin with the organization of ‘Heineken Jazz Festival Hua Hin’ strengthening the image of this famous beach as the country’s top quality tourist destination.

This yearly event is aimed to create the image of Hua Hin as the center of holidaying activities. Tourists are to participate in the event around 50,000 people Heineken Jazz Festival Hua Hin turn Hua Hin into an environment of happiness with the atmosphere and the mood of Jazz; adding a touch of local art & cultural attractiveness—leading Hua Hin as another famous destination place for Thailand.

Uncover one of the most famous fusion-jazz bands all over the world. Combining the essence of Thai and international music, the creation of modern thai band emerged from the desire amongst its members, many of them who used to be at Boy Thai, Tewan Novel Jazz, Not&Tai and Khangsadarn band.

The band with many instruments, including Thai flute, fiddle, Thai purcussion, guitar acoustic, and better yet Thai Xylophone, played by the famous “Khun Inn.”

With uniqueness of acoustic sound and a live-recording, the blend of jazz, bossanova, funky, latin, and ta-lung combinds smoothly into an easy-listening sound.

PRODE
Thanapat Mathayomchand, or known as “Prode”, since born, was in an environment of music. He has passion in all areas of music, starting with guitar and rock & roll. With the love in music, he went to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Having taught by famous jazz musicians, Gary Burton, John Scofield, Jogh Avercromble and Charlie Banacos, he was ready for the real world with his band “Tabapat Jazz Group” after graduation.

During the tour around USA, Prode performed with many famous artists, including Grammy Award Winning, “Lisa Fisher” and “Tavares,” R&B band like “Barry White”, as well as “Kool and the Gang.”

After 13 years aboard, Prode decided to live his music life in his beloved country, Thailand. Teaching Jazz, performing jazz with “The West Indies” and “Jazz Quartet”, doing work shop with world-class artist like “Herbie Hancock,” “Wayne Shorter,” and finally he took his band “Tanapat Jazz Group” a nationwide concert tour.

Adding to the teaching experience, Prode went for song Prodeucing at Grammy, and then a Prodeuct manager at CVD Music Co., Ltd, and back to teaching at Silpakorn University. With valuable experiences in all music areas, Prode is now a director at KPN. His first album “Prode,” self composed and Prodeuced, is a success that has a real jazz essence, no jazz lover could argue.

Last Hua Hin Jazz Festival on 14 June 2009 in honor of the Musical Talents of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and to celebrate the occasion of HUA HIN 100th Anniversary with the HUA HIN GREEN JAZZ concept.

Highlight of this year's HUA HIN Jazz Festival is the performance of Thai, Asian and world famous International Jazz musicians during the 3 days in different locations; on the beach and at Phonkingphet Public Park.
