Airport Offical defends Suvarnabhumi Airport criticism
The President of the Airports of Thailand Plc (AOT), Chotisak
Asapaviriya, has disputed claims that the new
Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand may not be ready to begin
operations in September. According to the BangKok Post, Albert Tjoeng,
International Air Transport Association (IATA) spokesman in Singapore,
has been cited expressing scepticism that the $3.7-billion Airport would
be ready for its launch for 28, September, 2006. |
